Man to Man Prostate Cancer Support Group
Tuesday, Aug.17
Men living with prostate cancer may attend an educational, informational and emotional support group. The Fox Chase Virtua Cancer Program sponsors this American Cancer Society support group meeting, which is offered on the third Tuesday of each month from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Virtua Memorial, 175 Madison Ave., Mount Holly,

Prenatal Yoga
Mondays and Thursdays, Aug. 19 Oct. 18 (8 week course)
Course includes gentle yoga poses, breath work and relaxation techniques aimed at offering ways to enhance your overall fitness and health and reduce physical discomforts associated with pregnancy. Total Joint Replacement: Preparation for Surgery
Mondays, Aug. 9 and 23 and Wednesdays, Aug. 11 and 25
If you are scheduled for joint replacement, attend this total joint replacement pre-surgical orientation. Topics covered include preparing for the procedure, the surgical experience, nutrition, exercise, and rehabilitation after surgery, as well as planning for discharge. The patient must be scheduled for surgery at a Virtua facility. The class meets at Virtua Marlton, 90 Brick Rd., Marlton, N.J. on Aug.9 and 23 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. and on Aug. 11 and 25 from 9 to 10 a.m. at Virtua Memorial, 175 Madison Ave., Mount Holly, N.J.**

Breast Cancer Support Group Woman to Woman
Wednesday, Aug. 11 and 25 and Tuesday, Aug. 24

This professionally facilitated support group is designed for women living with breast cancer and its treatment. The group offers an opportunity to learn from breast cancer survivors and health professionals and to share their triumphs and concerns. They meet on Aug. 11 and 25 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the William G. Rohrer Center for HealthFitness 2309 Evesham Rd., Voorhees, N.J. and on Aug. 24 at Virtua Memorial, 175 Madison Ave. Mount Holly, N.J. This program is made possible by a grant from the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. **

Fox Chase Virtua Health Cancer Program Second Opinion Service

Fox Chase Virtua Cancer Program patients can get a one-time second opinion visit with Paul Engstrom, MD, a Fox Chase Cancer Center physician. Dr. Engstrom provides the patient and the referring doctor with information and treatment recommendations. Patients may be seen from 2 to 5 p.m. at Virtua Health Cancer Program, FCVH 750 Rt. 73 S. Baby Basics
Tuesday, Aug. 3 and Saturday, Aug. 21 and 28
Expectant parents are invited to learn baby basics from a pediatrician. Infant care topics include feeding, bathing, skin care, immunization and infant development. The program also includes a demonstration of the proper use and installation of car seats and other important safety information. The program is offered from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday and from 9:30 a.m. to12:30 p.m. on Saturdays at Virtua’s Barry D. Brown Health Education Center, 106 Carnie Blvd., Voorhees, N.J and at Virtua Memorial, 175 Madison Ave., Mount Holly, NJ. Brunch will be served on Saturdays and a light dinner served on Tuesday. Sibling Class: Making Way for Baby

Help prepare your children, ages 3 to 7, for the arrival of a newborn sibling.
