Breastfeeding Class
Friday, July 9 and 16 and Wednesday, July 14
Whether you are planning to breastfeed or still not sure, this class is for you. Learn all about breastfeeding and gain practical tips from breastfeeding specialists. It is recommended that you take the class during/after the seventh month of pregnancy. Join us from 7 to 9 p.m. at Destination Maternity, 901 Haddonfield Road, Cherry Hill, N.J. Cost is $40 per couple. Fathers and/or support persons are encouraged to attend. **

Alzheimer’s Support Group
Thursday, July 15
If you are caring for someone with Alzheimer’s, who is caring for you? The caregiver support group provides an opportunity for family members, friends, caregivers and other interested individuals to meet regularly to discuss the challenges of caring for an individual with Alzheimer’s or dementia. Groups are free and shared information is kept confidential. The group meets from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Moorestown Estates, 1205 N.
Church St., Moorestown, N.J. **Fox Chase Virtua Health Cancer Program Second Opinion Service
Friday, July 23

Fox Chase Virtua Health Cancer Program patients can get a one-time second opinion visit with Paul Engstrom, MD, a Fox Chase Cancer Center physician. Dr. Engstrom provides the patient and the referring doctor with information and treatment recommendations. Patients may be seen from 2 to 5 p.m. at Virtua Health Cancer Program, Virtua Memorial, 175 Madison Ave., 4th floor, Mount Holly, N.J.
Fee is $300 if insurance is not accepted. Appointments are necessary. **

Man to Man Prostate Cancer Support Group

Men living with prostate cancer may attend an educational, informational and emotional support group. Virtua Parkinson’s Support Group

New Beginnings Weight Loss Surgery Orientation
Thursday, July 1 and Tuesday, July 20
Attend an orientation to Virtua’s New Beginnings weight loss program to find out about gastric bypass and Lap-Band surgery, including program expectations, preparing for surgery and care after the procedure. This free orientation will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on July 1 at Virtua‘s Barry D. Stroke Support Group

Learn about the advances in medicine, exercise, and treatment for stroke. This professionally facilitated support group meets from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Virtua Health and Rehabilitation Center, 62 Richmond Ave., Mount Holly, N.J. **
